Jake (The Certified Healthcare Builder Trainer) has led 55 successful Healthcare Renovation turnovers at 12 facilities in 6 different Health Systems in the State of Virginia during his 19 years in the industry.  Jake is passionate about keeping patients safe while maintaining quality and schedule on Healthcare Renovations.  In 2025, Jake was one of 7 national nominees for the prestigious HCA Design and Construction Partnering award.  Jake has led presentations at the 2024 Annual VSHE conference, the HCA Annual Design and Construction Conference, the Advancing Prefabrication in Construction conference, and delivered ICRA 2.0 training at a VSHE meeting.  Jake has transitioned into a full time training role with the Institute for Technical Builders in order to share his passion for patient safety during hospital construction projects.
